Dr. Dima Ghannam-Shahbari is the CEO of UB Therapeutics, based in Nazareth, Israel. She has extensive experience in cancer research, particularly in basic and translational research. Her expertise includes human in-vitro cell culture, molecular assays, data processing, statistical analysis, experimental design, biochemistry, and genetics. Dr. Ghannam-Shahbari has been leading UB Therapeutics since February 2023, focusing on advancing medical research. She completed her PhD in Medicine and Medical Science at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, where she conducted significant research. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Tel Aviv University. Her research contributions include the study of the Pax8 gene and its role in high-grade serous ovarian carcinoma, emphasizing her commitment to improving cancer treatment and understanding.
